About Us

My goal for this blog is born out of the disgust I have for current forums and review blogs were the only links  usually provided are affiliate links with monetary intent. Just so we are clear I am a online marketer myself. The IM niche though is badly polluted with quick buck artists who care nothing for selling you garbage or the same rehashed ebook 20x over. I have been a victim too many times myself of purchasing products  that rarely live up to their promises. There are some good marketers out there but they are few and far between.

I plan on having no affiliate links at all on this blog to prove to you that I am not in it for the money. At least not in the IM  niche. I hope to have some meaningful conversations with other marketers here  that people can benefit from and rely on for good trustworthy information.

Since this I am not making any money off of this blog and I have many other projects on the go I am hoping to try and pop out a post at least 1x weekly.

If you would like to share a post such as a review of something without any links then I would be more than happy to help out.

Quotation Marks For Keyword Research "Good or No?"

Usually when I do keyword research for a site or article I generally use broad search. I know a lot of people and a lot of gurus will tell you that it really shows the exact amount of competition for a given keyword if you use quotation marks(phrase search) instead of broad search however.

That my be true but the majority of searchers don't use the quotations marks for searching. And when you do searches for a keyword in a broad search it turns up all kinds of pages especially on page 1 of Google that weren't in the phrase search that you would still have to compete against.

Sometimes I think people(other marketers) put disinformation on the net purposely to throw you off course which would be to their advantage. No one ever seems to talk about this and I'm sure it exists. What do you think? Or am I Just being paranoid?

FREE report from Ewen Chia's Super Affiliates

I just grabber this free new report from Ewen Chia who is one of my idol's in the Internet marketing area. I have been following what he does for many years now since i bought his Autopilot Profits System. I think what separates him from the tons of other get rich fad marketers is just that. Low Hype-High Value.

I can personally attest to the fact that it does work and I have created over a dozen successful mini sites based on his principals.

He teaches how to create a long-term sustainable business that is not built over night although you can make money very quickly if you have some experience. But most importantly it is a business and needs to be taken seriously. That it will require discipline and consistency.

Simplicity is usually the best route to go  with 1 business model, 1 site to promote, 1market and to start 1 product. You may be think duhhh! But really most marketers are hopping around from promo to promo never really getting anywhere. They spread themselves too thin. You don't leave a site until you have either exhausted all traffic sources and they don't convert  or you realized you picked the wrong market in the beginning.

In his free report "The 7 Hidden  Principals of Super Affiliate Marketing" he goes into:

1)How to work smarter and be more productive(time management for affiliates).
2)A proven business model that will work in any market
3)Why you must be always branding
4)How to build relationships with your list
5)Strategies to track conversion rates

Get your free report from Ewen Chia's Super Affiliates

If you are interested in signing up for his membership site which is only 47$/month and is fully refundable for 8 weeks its definitely a worthwhile investment  even if you are only it for a couple months you have nothing to lose.

Ecommerce stats by category

I was scouring the net for some solid e-commerce stats the other day and found the US-census bureau had some stats from 2008. Even though the total numbers are different the niches that make the most money won't change that much. Here's some points I gathered. If you want to check out the actual stats the pdf is here. If you are confused as what niche you can make money in; all of these niches have been proven to be making money. I would start here and find subniches in each then expand. If you want to see which countries spend the most online check out this pdf from neilsen.http://th.nielsen.com/site/documents/GlobalOnlineShoppingReportFeb08.pdf.  You also have to take into consideration how many people actually use the net. There is a report for it  here.

Google makes MAJOR changes to its search algorithm

From 2009
On feburary 24 last week the big G made some pretty big changes to its search algorithm. Many internet marketers in the past have speculated if google included original content as a determining factor in their search algorithm. It was a bit of a Grey area.

No more though.

They finally made the announcement last week on the official Google blog that original content will definitely be a determining factor in search rankings.

So how will this affect you. If you have a bunch of spun articles on article directories they may get wacked. If you have one of those news aggregator sites or have a similar auto-generated site they may be affected also.

If you have been in the internet marketing game this should be par for the course with google. They are always changing. A few years ago a lot of people got adwords slapped and lost a huge chunk of their business if they were dependent on this. During the same time period if you had a bunch of adsense sites you've probably noticed their CPC payout has gone down considerably. Paying for email may even be in our future if msn and yahoo have their way.

This is why you need to be constantly evolving as well. There still is a ton of money to made on the internet and likely will be for a long time to come. Just because you have a successful site or maybe even a couple doesn't mean you can sit on your laurels.
